I was part of the January 2009 thread....don't know if anyone from that thread is still here (hopefully all of you have moved onto successful pregnancies!), but I wanted to let you know that I'll be cycling again. After our failed DE cycle in Feb, we moved onto adoption.....got our homestudy done, retained an attorney and heard from a few prospective b-moms. We had a match that seemed great at first, but recently fell thru.
In order to keep things moving on our quest to parenthood (let's face it, 5 years of this cra* is getting a little out of hand), we decided to give DE another go and pursue both adoption and DE simulatenously. For now, DE will be more proactive while adoption will be reactive (if we get any b-mom prospects, great, but in the meantime, we will move ahead with DE).
We spoke with our RE and are back on the DE waiting list. We're hoping to cycle in November if we get a match and all goes well. Anyone left from January and are you cycling again? Anyone new who wants to join me on a cycling thread? Also, for anyone who's had failed DE cycles, how did you get back in the saddle for another cycle? Was your 2nd cycle successful?
