Hi,
I am 42 y/o and TTC x 2 yrs. I just had a failed 2nd IVF locally and am planning my 3rd one. I consulted with both Dr. Schoolcraft and with Dr. Sher and of course they both were promoting \"their\" protocol; Dr. Schoolcraft recommended the MDL and Dr. Sher recommended the agonist/antagonist protocol. I am sooo confused.
My first IVF was a flare full strength lupron with no BCP and I did ok with 7 eggs and 3 fertilized, but BFN
my 2nd IVF was the antagon protocol with BCP for 10 days prior and I had 9 follicles with only 2 fertilized, BFN.
I tend to stim fast with high estrogens, but a low # of follicles.
what Dr. Sher says about flare protocols not being good makes sense, but has anyone tried it successfully over 40?
thanks
