tianarahagalala on "Has anyone figured out how to make the mail stop?"

As I approach my due date (6/16), it seems to be coming to a crescendo. I have gotten into a routine of finding the 800 number on the mailing, calling and telling them that my baby died and I would like to be removed from the list, listening to them apologize and promise to remove me, and yet the mailings still come. Last week it was a box of Similac. Babies R Us is the worst offender. My friend called them while I was still in the hospital and asked to have my registry deleted and for me to be removed from the mailing list. I called them a few weeks ago after yet another mailing. Last week was the final straw when I got my registry completion coupon, for the registry that doesn't exist. A company that is in the business they are in should have a procedure in place to deal with the unfortunate situation that some of us find ourselves in. I am boycotting them and will not be making any purchases there or registering there in the future because I am so disappointed at the way they have been so ineffective in handling this.

So, has anyone found a way to make them stop?
I wish there was some sort of central "do not mail, my baby is dead" list Image may be NSFW.
