Hi all,
Over the last 4 years we have tried IVF over 10 times in Switzerland, Australia and New York. Of the 40 embryos that we have put in, I have had one chemical pregnancy and all the rest have not even attached? And the IVF procedures have always gone perfectly. I'm 42 now so after testing everything - Laporoscopy, Hysteroscopy, HSG, Immune Tests, Biopsies, etc - everything has always been normal, so they think it's my eggs. Although I think it's me and there has to be something wrong and that's why these embryos are not attaching?
So this summer, we came to NY to do the donor process through RMA NY. Everything went perfectly again. We got 8 perfect embryos at Blastecyst Stage and they put 2 back in and froze 5 (one didn't make it). The whole week I wasn't feeling anything at all but my Doctor and Nurse kept saying that I was pregnant not to worry. Then when I took my blood test, I wasn't pregnant!
My Doctor has said that we should try immediately again with the frozen cycles. I asked him if he could do a Laporoscopy or Hysteroscopy again first. He doesn't want to because he said you can damage the uterus everytime you go in to test, and that all my tests show that there is nothing wrong with my uterus. Of course I want to try again immediately (and they said it's fine to do becasue my ovaries were not stimulated for the last cycle) but deep down, I still think there might be something wrong. I don't want to waste these precious embryos.
I can extend my stay here in NY because it's summer break so the timing is possible to do it right away again. But do you think I should first do the Lap/Hys and then try the frozen again in 3 months?
