M/C, Failed DE cycles, preg. loss ment. Sorry for the length...

Hello,
I am a Co resident and been dealing with IF for over 3 years. I have cycled with both OE and DE. With OE, I got pregnant 2x w/out assistance and both ended in early m/c. Then I got pregnant with a round of clomid and it was an ectopic. From there, I tried IVF, but responded poorly. My cycle was converted to IUI and I conceived triplets. However, I lost all 3 at 21+ weeks due to pProm (I had a subchorionic hematoma under one of the placentas, but otherwise carried them fine). All three were perfect and healthy.

After that, I tried 3 more IVFs, but my FSH was up to 20. All failed and we moved to DE. We picked a donor who came back with high FSH, and then picked a second donor that looked good. However, our first cycle (at CRE) was cancelled due to uneven stim. She didn't want to cycle again, so we went through an agency to get another donor. It was quite expensive and we ended up selecting a 27 year old with two successful cycles behind her. When we cycled with her, though, she had a poor cycle. She had 26 eggs ret. and of that, only 13 fertilized. By day 3, there was only one 8-cell blast. Even though some others caught up, both the fresh and frozen transfer failed. We have nothing on ice. The RE we worked with blamed egg/embryo quality and did not feel it had anything to do with sperm or lining. The donor had cycled 2x in the previous 7 months, and her second cycle was less productive than her first, even though it resulted in pregnancy for the Intended Parents.

After that expensive failure, we decided to cycle in CZ. The process was smooth, but unfortunately ended in blighted ovum and m/c at 7w. Both my perinatologist and RE feel this was due to chromosomal issues with the egg and the we just had bad luck again.

Right now, we are leaning to another cycle in CZ. The cost is a fraction of what it is here and DH and I have come to think this is (for us anyway) just a numbers game and that the more rolls of the dice we have, the more likely it will work. However, I have a friend who cycle ONCE at CCRM and got 17 great embryos. She now has 4 children from that one donor (would have 5, but lost a twin a few years ago). THAT was the scenario I was hoping for. We originally chose Conceptions b/c they are in our network and some IVF is covered for me. Now I wish I'd just done shared risk at CCRM in the first place.

Has anyone done this Shared Risk/DE program at CCRM? Do you happen to know cost/details of their program. I think they use IntegraMed, and that it is 6 tries for 40K, is that right? Do you know what their pregnancy rates are at the moment? How is their donor pool and have you heard many stories of failed DE cycles there? I just want to be sure I have explored all my options. I am torn b/c in many ways, it would be easiest to just know that I have so many cycles at CCRM and then I'm done trying. They are local, and I don't have to coordinate or travel. But, it's a lot of money, too.

Any thoughts or comments are welcome...thank you.
