I'm an ivf vet who has no children. I have never had to make the decision to do s/r, however I have had to make the heartbreaking decision to end two pg due to the fact they were chromosomally abnormal (@ 23w2d and 12w). Both had trisomy 13.
However a friend of mine struggling ttc confided in me that she is pg with quads following an iui. She is somewhat aware of my history so felt comfortable sharing that they are facing the decision to do s/r.
I am just devastated for her. Do you have anything I should share with her? Do you have any advice about the procedure? Your feelings afterwards? She comes from a v conservative family and I am the only person who knows besides her and her dh.
