I am new to the board. I am 43 no kids and I just completed my first IVF cycle which failed. I had 9 egg. 8 were good and all 8 fertilized. 4 reached the 8 cell stage and were transferred on day 3. but no pregnancy. my day 2 fsh was 7.3 the doctor said it was probably just due to the age of my eggs. he said I should definitely try again. my question is if the age of my eggs are a problem how many rounds do people do before they go to donor egg. also I did accupuncture in conjunction with the ivf. I am now adding herbs into the mix between ivf cycles. do herbs make a difference?
