I have MTHFR and am on Lovenox. My midwives informed me yesterday (I'm 19 w) that they can't treat anyone who's on blood thinners, nor can the OBs in their practice. I'm super P.O.'d, not least of all because I just switched to an HMO, and my options are very limited.
Anyone out there have a high-risk OB here in Chicago either at UIC or IL Masonic? I guess it's probably too much to ask for one who will be gung-ho about my desire for an unmedicated childbirth.
