I am starting first IVF cycle. Egg retrieval should be in 3 weeks. Doctor says I need to lose weight because overweight women have a higher chance of miscarriage. I have been trying to. I have read similar things on the internet. What I want to know is if I have 2 living children now, and everything is fine with my husband and my hormones and ovulation is good, will I still be at a great risk for miscarriage with a BMI of 32? I am 34 and the only fertility problem I now have is blocked tubes. Somebody please give me some stats on "big" women having successful IVF and live births. This is my biggest fear and after this one shot we will not be able to afford any more cycles of IVF, so I need it to work!
