Hi Ladies,
I have a babe who is struggling with what we think is an overactive letdown. When he starts breastfeeding he sputters, gags, and pushes away from the breast very angry and frustrated. He is obviously hungry and tries to relatch but pulls away again as soon as he does. We have been breastfeeding one baby, bottle feeding EBM to the other baby, then switching at the next feed. He also has a stuffy nose so this might be contributing to his troubles?
Does anyone have any suggestions for how I might help him to be able to breastfeed and deal with this?
