I've a question for any ladies who've done this protocol with their IVF's. Isn't it normal for a RE to take your estrogen and progesterone levels throughout an IVF cycle to be sure your levels are where they ought to be?
My doctor did not once take estrogen/progesterone levels throughout my IVF, nor during my 2WW, to which I was annoyed as these are prescribed medications, and shouldn't he want to know if I need additional supplementation? I asked for him to check and he wanted to charge me an additional 350.00 to test, although he prescribed me these medications. An aside to that, we're paying him 26 grand for two cycles, so couldn't he swing that within the fee? I've never heard of being given a particular protocol, and then not following up with bloodwork to be sure it's going as directed.
Thanks for any insight.
