I had a previous ectopic and am worried. We BD'd on CD14 this cycle (after 2 IVF's I've weirdly been able to get pregnant naturally now though I'm 43 and have never successfully carried to term), so I think there's a good chance that I'm pregnant however I immediately started to have big twinges where my bad tube is all the way up to my waist and since I'm at high risk for ectopics I'm worried that it's happened again. Has anyone else had symptoms so early on? I know that implantation usually takes a week after fertilization but could I have fertilized immediately and now it's stuck and already growing in the tube by 5-6 dpo? With my previous ectopic I didn't really feel any tubal discomfort at all though I did have spotting and irregular HCG levels so I'm not sure what is causing these pains. I'm concerned that since the tube is bad from the last ectopic it's acting up immediately after the egg fertilized (if that actually has happened) and that's why i'm having the twinges. Has anyone had any similar experiences?
I have to wait another week before taking an HPT and I don't want to call the doctor until after I know it's a positive. After all, they really can't do anything until the pregnancy is confirmed, can they?
The worrying is making me crazy especially since I have to wait another week before taking the HPT.
