This might sound like an odd question because I'm in the "no tell" camp (child included), but I would love to get some opinions.
There is a donor I saw online that is an excellent fit. She is mixed - caucasian and Chinese. She looks mixed and perhaps is slightly more on the caucasian side; her sister also but maybe a little less so. Her mother is white and her father is Chinese, but he also looks slightly caucasian.
I'm caucasion (N. European background) as is my husband, but the donor looks just like me; it's almost uncanny. (I have very small-lidded almond-shaped eyes.)
If I were to use her eggs, I believe it's likely that the resulting gene pool would be even more mixed...or that the probability of them being more mixed would be high. (I still have to reread the Mendelleian sections in Genetics for Dummies.) Or is this too much of a risk since I don't want anyone to know?
