I've had a great time reconnecting w/ some old friends and it's great to keep in touch w/ people from my hometown. I also like keeping up w/ pictures of people's kids, etc.
However, I swear it feels like HS for adults. I know I shouldn't take it personally when I am de-friended, but it does sort of sting when you see them post on a mutal friend's page/picture. *bummer*
I suppose it must be really bad for those that actually ARE in HS at the moment...
