Hasnaa on "Absence Seizures"

My 2 yr. 9 month DS was diagnosed with Myoclonic Epilepsy in September after his first EEG. However, during his last EEG in early March, absence seizures were detected. They have changed his medication from Zonegran (which only treated myoclonics) to Depakote (which treats both).

Does anyone have information on Absence Seizures or Depakote?
