I'm looking for some advice. I have an appt with a MFM doc to discuss SE on Friday. I had originally called two docs, as I'd like more than one opinion, but heard back from one rather quickly and she's an expert at CVS and SE. Now I just got a call back from the other (one week later) and I have an appt for Thursday, which is the day before the Doc #1 appt.
The awkward situation is that Doc #1 doesn't see patients / deliver, as she's really focused on CVS, Amnios, SE, etc. Doc #2 does procedures and deliveries. While doc #2 has a great reputation as a high risk OB, I don't think she does as much in the SE area. She at least isn't a "rock star" like Doc #1. Furthermore, Doc #2 is affiliated with the hospital with the best NICU in the city. Even if I go with Doc #1 for the CVS and SE, I can't stay with her for the ongoing care. However, how do I go about seeing Doc #2 for the ongoing care and not the CVS / SE? Perhaps I'm totally overanalyzing this whole thing, Doc #2 will have thick skin and not care, etc. Any advice on what to say to Doc #2, or should I not even worry about it?
