On Monday I was 12W, and went in for a scheduled ultrasound and to have a CVS with the MFM specialist that everyone in our area says is the best. To our surprise, the ultrasound showed a 5x4cm blood clot hovering above fetus, and the Dr. said it wasn't prudent to go ahead with the CVS at this time as it could cause problems for the pregnancy. Has anyone ever been told that having sub chorionic hematomas -- especially ones that aren't actively bleeding -- means you should not do a CVS or an amnio?
Thanks for the feedback
