OK, just to save other people 2 minutes of Google time, let's start an SR and CVS "phone book." Feel free to copy the last phone numbers and add the ones you have.

Joanne Stone is at Mt Sinai, NY (212) 241-5681
Ronald Wapner does CVS and SR, has offices in Phila and NYC (215) 762-3609
Janet Horenstein does SR, is in LA (213) 741 1406
John Williams does CVS but not SR in LA (310) 423 9938
Jim Goldberg in SF does CVS (415) 202-1200
Carl Otto CVS sometimes and SR CPMC in San Francisco (415) 600-6400

Wapner believes strongly that the same MD and U/S tech should do both the CVS and the SR to lower the chance of reducing the wrong fetus. I called Dr. Williams' office and talked with the genetic counselor about this and she said, "we really haven't had much of a problem with that." Yeeks. I really prefer it when genetic counselors speak in % chances rather than scary generalizations. She also said, "reducing the wrong fetus is a risk of selective reduction, but it is a small risk." YIKES.

She quoted Dr. Williams' risk of pg loss with a singleton CVS as 1:200 after subtracting the baseline rate of pg loss that would have occurred anyway.
