Our report is in, our baby had Trisomy 22, which is fatal, the baby was a boy. When the nurse said boy, I gasped out loud and almost passed out. Knowing the gender is a double edged sword, we wanted to know the gender, but then when we found out it made the loss hurt like it just happened all over again.
We lost this pg at 9 w missed m/c (d&c). HB was seen twice then stopped in the 8th week.
Has anyone ever heard of Trisomy 22? Is it age related (I am almost 41 and these eggs just are not good clearly). Or is this more sperm related? We started our TTC journey with MFI, now I think its more me.
We had a loss last year in the 15h week for Full Trisomy 21 (also a boy). This is crushing.
TIA
