Hi girls,
I had an u/s yesterday at 10 weeks 4 days and both babies were extremely active, moving around and kicking. They also had very strong heartbeats. However, I am concerned a bit that one of the babies is consistenly measuring behind (crown to rump length) -- anywhere between 2 to 5 days. The other one is usually a day ahead. My RE and the high risk pregnancy OBGYN I saw yesterday didn't seem concerned. They both told me that the most important thing is that they are active and have strong heartbeats. Also, I noticed that one baby's sac is much bigger than the other\'s.
I must mention that I have a lot going on in my uterus and maybe one of the babies doesn't have as much room to grow? I basically have 4 sacs right now -- the fraternal twins, each in a separate sac. And then between the two of them there is a sac (4 cm) with demised identical twins. On top of that, Baby A (the smallest one) has a hematoma (4 cm) right under its sac.
Can you please tell me if you had this experience of one of the babies measuring behind? Did that baby ever catch up?
I have another u/s with the same doctor next Friday at 11 weeks 4 days. I hope that both of my babies are still there and doing well!!!
Thanks,
Kite
