Okay. So we are planning another fresh IVF cycle. We have a dd from our 2nd attempt, so we were lucky to have it work. My dh and I carry recessive mutations of the cf gene, so IVF with PGD is our only route to a healthy child.
When we did our first cycles, I never had an HSG done. Just the ultrasound saline test. Since we are doing IVF no matter what, why would my RE order an HSG to be done? Can't the saline test determine the 'health' of my uterus? Why would I need my tubes looked at at all, hence the HSG?
It has been over 3 years since I have been on the horse, believe it or not.. you do forget. I would have never guessed.
