Hi,
Hoping for some encouragement and advice. I will be 42 in December and trying for my second child (with my partner of 6 years). So, the last IVF did not work, and the retrieval for the 2nd one was on Thursday. They called with the numbers- they got 30 eggs, 21 were viable and 12 were fertilized. Is this a good number considering my age? I am hoping they have enough to put 5 in - that's what they did last time, but unfortunately it did not work.
So, my other question is, the transfer is tomorrow- the last time they did the transfer I didn't really slow down too much afterwards. Should i really rest this time? Do you think it matters?
Thanks a lot! Good luck to everyone!
Amy
