Ok. So, I'm in total shock right now but happy. I never expected this would happen in a million years. Not only did I ever think I would be pregnant after I had a tuble ligation at 21 but this takes the cake. So, girls here it goes. I went for My u/s today and we saw three heartbeats YES, I said THREE heartbeats, 3 babies. I'm pregnant with triples.( sorry I have to keep saying it to believe it) I am an identical twin myself so my doctor said it was bound to happen. All 3 babies look great, baby A's bpm was 95 measuring 6.5 weeks. Baby B' bpm 104 and 105 (identical twins)measuring about the same. My doctor said this isnt an ideal pregnancy but all is going very well, Of course they prepare you for the worse. He said they split late so its possible they are sharing the same sack. sometimes this happenes and puts the babies at risk for twin to twin transfusion, meaning one twin could get more nutrition. When they get bigger they could get tangled in each others cord. etc, So many things could happen but again they want to prepare you a head of time. My RE said I was the first patient in his 35 years of practice to go through this. He said a few other doctors in his practice have seen this but its not common. So, hey Im his first thats cool to me, I like to leave my mark, lol. I am very excided but nervous and optimistic. Shock x 3 I had two eggs put in and one split, so I have identicals and a fraternal.
