NO General Questions (non-vets & vets alike)
NO Beginner's Questions
NO"Ask the vets"-type Questions
The veterans board is for discussions dealing with the coping aspect of being an IVF veteran. Therefore it is IMPORTANT that the veterans have a board that is free from general questions (defined as the nitty gritty of the IVF process). If you are NOT an IVF vet, do NOT post here. Please see the list of other boards: If you have a general question regarding an aspect of the IVF process, please post on the General board. This applies to both vets and non-vets.
Beware, all general posts will be moved off of this board as soon as they are reported to muiti.
If you have a IVF beginners question, see this Questions and Answers page, or post your question to this IVF Beginners Board.
Who is an IVF Veteran??
For the purposes of this board, an IVF Veteran shall be defined as someone who has had multiple failed IVF/infertility cycles and/or losses and no longer finds the positive thoughts of the other IVF boards helpful. The IVF veteran board shall be a haven where veterans can cope without the positive pressure of the other boards and without having to answer the general cycle questions that are part of the other boards.
Please lurk a while before posting here ...
Because of the sensitive nature of the "vets only" board it is highly recommended that you lurk on here before posting. If you are not an IVF veteran, DO NOT post here. If you think you are a vet, please read the definition posted at the top of this board to see if you fit in and then lurk a while. Be forewarned that because of their experiences, veterans may not share your optimism about IVF and if this will make you feel uncomfortable, it might be best not to read this board at all.
