I am 44 and hoping to do DEIVF very soon. I received my first donor listing. Basic information, i.e. age, prev preg, education, health etc. I was told that I could phone in and receive any information they have verbally over the phone. I am stumped on what to ask. Do I need to ask for FSH, E2, antrol follicle count, etc...or am I to assume they have only allowed women with these good numbers in the DE pool? I don't know what to ask.
I'm feeling the stress of making a choice and have to have my choices back soon.
I noticed there are some young donors who look like a very good match and are quite young(22, 24)...but under the "prev. pregnancy" column the answer is "no"....I guess that doesn't necessarily mean she is not proven...she may have donated eggs but just hasn't gotten pregnant yet. Has anyone ran into that situation....young, no children of their own but proven.
I'm am very excited about how things are moving along but am a bit overwhelmed on how I will choose a donor.
