HI! I am 30 weeks pregnant with twins and have been losing parts of my mucus plug for the past 2 weeks (it was clear). I was sent to the hospital 2 weeks ago and everything still looked fine (cervix 3.0 and not dilated). The did the FFN test, which was negative so they sent me home. They told me that the mucus plug will regenerate itself. Well this week the mucus plug was tinged brown (sorry for the details) and today had blood streaks in it. I did not call my Dr yet b/c I feel fine and do not want to go the hospital unnecessarily. I also have a peri appt tomorrow so figured as long as I have no more bleeding or contractions it can wait. I just wanted to hear from anyone who has experienced this and how worried should I be about delivering too early. Thank you I appreciate your responses. Jen
