Our donor was tested for the fragile x gene and her result - 45 repeats - puts her in the intermediate category (45 - 54 repeats). If her result had been anything under 45, it would have been considered negative. It seems that there is a negligible chance that a child would have the fragile x gene. However there is a possibilty of it showing up in future generations.
I'm not sure if we should proceed with her. What would you do?
