If you have been reading my less than Happy posts lately, part of that has to do with my household appliances trying to do me in.
The Frigidaire washing machine that I got last month to replace my 5 year old GE blew a gasket. It can't be repaired.
I am getting a full refund on the washer, but after putting thousands of grueling hours of research (which I did when I picked the Frigidaire- they were the first company to make front loaders in Europe for 20 years, yada, yada) I learned that washing machines bought today are only built to last 7 - 11 years. I can't efffing afford that.
My research shows that the VERY BEST washing machine is a Miele (I have a Miele vacuum; I believe it) but they start at 2k. - BUT- they come with a 20 year warrantee. Which I can ill afford, especially since all my appliances ganged up on me last month and quit. En mass. Like they had a midnight meeting or something and purposely orchestrated it. Like they would rather die than live with me one.more.minute.
Anyway, my research showed that the next best thing to a Miele washing machine is a Bosch (for reliability, folks). That's all I want. Nothing else. He!!, at this point I'm not too picky if it cleans my clothes well. I just want the thing to work.
Anyone have any experience with Bosch washing machines?
