My second cousin (whom I have never met) told my mom she had considered egg donation. Knowing my history, my mother mentioned this to me as possibly approaching her. She is young, good looking and intelligent. The only problem that jumps out at me is her sister. The sister has undiagnosed mental issues. I don't remember if she seems bipolar, but is very controlling and causing issues with her grandmother, for whom she is the live-in helper.
Would a sibling of a donor with psych issues be enough to not even pursue this?
