Hello everyone. I've been possibly interested in going the DE route for a few months now.
I'm wondering if anyone has been in this struggle to decide what to do.
When I first started IVF I shrugged off the idea of shared risk, because I thought I would be successful the first go round. I suppose everyone does. Well that didn't work out too well.
Now I'm thinking the same exact thing about DE. I know some places have a shared risk for DE and you can also do a shared cycle with someone for half the cost etc. I also looked into cycling in Czech where IMO you can't beat the cost, however their success rates haven't been updated for 5 years (NOT a good sign) and from lurking on DE boards for Czech, it seems like hardly anyone has success the first try. I know donor is not a guarantee, but when I see places like CCRM publishing rates at 81% I'm thinking...is this for real?!

How did you make the decision on where to go? Was a detailed medical background on donor important to you? It seems like a silly question doesn't it. Of course it should be important to anyone using donor, but some countries won't give you that info. Kinda scary, but scary is the price using US clinics. I'm so confused.
