Its just over 24 hours since I started bleeding. I'm still morning sick and bleeding but worst of all I keep having flashbacks to the sensation of the sac sliding down my leg and what happened next.
They left me to sit in the waiting room while they processed people with the flu.
When I finally got into the triage room I was passing the sac. The nurse rushed me into a bathroom and when I was pulling down my pants the sac slipped into my jeans without my knowing it. When I stood up it fell onto the dirty bathroom floor. The nurse identified it as the sac (I wasn't sure as it was attached to a big clot) and ran off to find someone to watch the bathroom to keep people out. She just left me there crying, bleeding and staring at my baby laying on the dirty wet floor.
I just can't get past it. That was so wrong.
