Okay Ladies,
Let me give you the scenario and then I will ask my question. I have a friend that works in a dental office and often they will have kids that have really messed up teeth and on more than occasion, she will say it is because the kid was still breastfeeding at night. And, it is often a 2 year old or 4 year old. And, when I countered with, Well, J quit nursing at night at 4 mos., she commented that my girls still nurse at night. Well, they are only 8.5 mos. and don't even have that many teeth.
And, personally, I think she is full of shot but what the heck do you all think? And, I know of a friend that nursed her ds until 2 and no problem. She counters that the breastmilk sits on their teeth all night; therefore, rotting the teeth.
