I was talking to my sil last night on the phone and I asked about the kiddos. She talls me one has strep throat, the other is having bulying issues at school and the middle kiddo got bitten by a dog over the weekend I guess the dog left teeth marks on dn's face and the child he was playing iwth was pulling the dog off him??/ WTF, Where were the parents and what's a kid doing trying to get a 100lb dog off another kid? I told her if it was me, I would have sued. I asked if the dog was being put down and she said she was told that the dog was being "taken care of" but I'm not buying it If I didn't sue, then I definatly wouldn't let the kids go over and play there anymore. I told this to dh earlier tonight and he told me about a local family who's kiddo got hurt on the playground at a rural school and after that, the al lthe kiddos couldn't play on the equipment and then no one wanted to invute their kidso to birthday parties for fear of being suded. The partnets of the injured child sued the school division.
