Hi,
I had a preventive Shirodkars placed at wk 13. Today at wk 18 I noticed a piece of wire with a knot on my panty liner. I totally freaked out thinking my cerclage is misplaced or worse failed. Called in the Peri's office who assured me its completely normal. When the cerclage heals in place, the suture falls out in most cases which had to happen in mine 
I am still not convinced and wonder if its so common, why was I not told to expect this earlier 
Has anyone had/heard this experience ? Please share your thoughts.
