DD is now 4 weeks old. Still a slow nurser. She's now going through fussy periods in the early afternoon and late night, and her only source of comfort is to nurse for hours on end. She'll go more than 2 hours at a time. She may just be using me as a pacifier, and I'm not quite sure if there's anything I should do about it. I tried offering a pacifier, but she didn't take it.
Any advice on whether this is normal, and if there's anything I can do about it. Stopping the nursing just makes her cry and she acts as if she's still hungry (putting hand in mouth).
