I've been having internal u/s to check my cervix b/c I've had uterine irritability & false contractions. When my peri checked today, he said my cervix was still very long & closed, almost 5cm and I am 23+ weeks. But, I noticed the shape was a little funny. It was almost a little dented in or curved kind of near the top... almost like an s-shape. My peri told me that it happens sometimes and said I shouldn't worry about it, but didn't explain why. I pressed him a little b/c I don't remember it looking like that on previous u/s (and I get checked a lot), but he told me again not to worry about it... but of course I am. I've had a high anxiety pregnancy and I'm not sure if he's holding back for my sanity, but I just want to know if this is an indication of something.
I'm not sure if its related, but he told me I should be wearing my support belt all the time. Could pressure from the baby have pushed my cervix down in a spot or could this be a sign of something? Does anyone have any info on this? Any info would be appreciated!!
