Okay, little dude is enjoying his cross-dressing phase.
He plays ballerina, goes off to job interviews in Mama's heels and his very own handbag, etc. DH and I are both totally fine with all of this, although it does leave DH a little chagrined.
What I'm not sure of how to handle is when he announces, "I'm a GIRL!"
I used to try and reason with him that he's a boy because he has a p***. However, I know that two year olds aren't really apt to be reasoned with, he doesn't have the processing power...
So, now I say, "Are you going to be a girl TODAY?" to acknowledge that its an imaginary state like being a princess.
What do other parents say???
