olga on "Help! Did any of you do an amnio?"

My surrogate is 15 weeks pg with donor egg. We are given the choice to do the blood work to see if there are any reasons to continue to do an amnio. However, I feel with a 26 year donor egg I shouldn't have to do an amnio, however we would seriously consider terminating if there were chromosomal problems but we also don't want to risk hurting a normal pregnancy with an amnio. So I just wanted to see how others approached the option of amnio.
