I have high FSH (obviously!) but I do manage to produce "good looking" 7 and 8-cell embryos at times. Clearly I have an egg quantity and quality problem, but both my current and former RE can't understand why these embryos failed(with the exception of my one ectopic). I'm suspicious that, in addition to my poor egg issues, my lining also just too crappy to implant any embryos.
I do get AF regularly but I bleed only for 1-3 days maximum, and the blood does not look healthy. Sorry TMI. I've read that women with POF just do not have enough hormones to naturally create and sustain a healthy uterine lining. I know that's why we are put on progesterone and estrace, but I fear that even the supplements are not enough.
So while the RE says doing a prep cycle is rare, I've asked her to do a prep cycle because I've had so many failures. I'm gearing up to do a donor cycle in the next few months. This is my last cycle, so I want to investigate EVERYTHING before we move forward.
Did you do a prep cycle prior to your donor IVF cycle? Should I?
