Since January I have started a new job in a town about 1 hour drive from here. I discussed issues with my h since we knew it would mean he had to take more time with the kids but we both agreed that I should take the job. It is higher up in hierarchy plus the pay is definitely better.
I also have a nanny picking the boys up from daycare twice a week plus in the near future I will also take one afternoon for them. Which will leave him 2 afternoons per week where he has to be on time in daycare. He does not have a high-stress job so it is very doable for him. Out of my bad conscience (stupid, I know) I have also taken to mostly cleaning up the apartment by myself, laying out the clothes for the boys at night, doing their lunch boxes in the morning even though I am the first to get up, etc.
Yesterday I had a work thing. My boss who is very nosey invited us to dinner at his home along with my colleague. My h picked a fight twice during the day. The 2nd time he started yelling in the apartment where the wipies where while I was in the bathtub. Mind you, I had completely cleaned the childrens' room as we have new furniture and had worked on that for about 6 hours. I completely lost it. He told him he would not go to that work thing. My work is totally unimportant for him even though we mostly rely on my salary plus I am still on work probation (6 months here).
He finally calmed down and told me he would go with me. But since I know my boss who can smell trouble I went alone and came up with the story the babysitter had not shown - a story they all took.
H comes this am and asks how yesterday was.
At this point I just want to separate. I can't believe I am getting the bad end of the stick all the time and get blamed for everything. Not having him support me for my work thing said so much to me.
I am about to quit my job or get a divorce or whatever.
This can't go on.
